Renowned Dominican producer, songwriter, arranger, and instrumentalist. Credited as a leading figure in shaping the modern sound of merengue and bachata while honoring the roots of these genres, essential to Dominican culture.

He founded Midilab Grabaciones and arranged or contributed to hits for Álex Bueno, Juan Luis Guerra, Emmanuel, Sergio Vargas, Joan Manuel Serrat, and Garibaldi, among many others. He also co-wrote the Viña del Mar Festival winning song “Para Quererte.” He served on the Board of Directors of the Latin Recording Academy.
