The music industry can feel closed to artists without the right connections. Incurator was built to give independent artists a useful place to work on their music and career, alongside opportunities for selected artists to work with Music Mentors.

What is the Music Funnel?
The Music Funnel is the selective artist-development path at Incurator. Our team gets to know your music first, then looks for Music Mentors for selected artists. It is separate from the tools available through your subscription.
Three things to know:
- The tools: create your Artist DNA for free and use the tools available on your plan. You can use them even if you are not selected for development.
- The mentors: we look at your music, progress, and creative fit before seeking Music Mentors for selected artists. Selection and matching are not guaranteed.
- The releases: selected projects may receive production, financing, marketing, and distribution support. We work out the details together, project by project.
How the process works
1. Build your Artist DNA
Sign up and complete your Artist DNA: your music, goals, audience, and story in one place. Use that context to work through career questions and decide what to focus on next.
2. Do the work
Use the tools available on your plan to organize release tasks, prepare materials, and keep working on your music. Your work outside the app also gives the team context about your progress and creative direction.
3. Our team takes a look
There is no separate application. Artists on free and paid plans can be considered by the Incurator team. Paying does not guarantee selection, and app activity alone does not guarantee a next stage.
4. Meet your Music Mentor
If you’re selected, we look for a Music Mentor who understands your music and goals. Together, we talk through the feedback and development that would help your project.
5. Build a release together
Some selected projects may progress to a release partnership. Production, financing, marketing, or distribution support is discussed case by case. These arrangements are separate from subscriptions; there is no blanket promise of free support, a label deal, or a particular outcome.
